=Notice= Museum will be temporary closed for a renovation
As a 30th anniversary project, Himeyuri Peace Museum will be renovated. Due to the
renovation, the museum will be closed during the following dates:
July 10-21, 2020 (12 days)
We hope this renovation will not cause any inconvenience to you and sincerely look forward to seeing you in our brand-new museum.
The museum will reopen on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Free admissions for visitors with a physical handicap.
Official verification must be presented at the ticket counter.
Free admission on June 23, the Day for Consoling Spirits of the Dead.

[By Bus]
Take #89 or #34 bound for Itoman from the Naha City Bus Terminal (an approximately 30-minute ride). Transfer at the Itoman City Bus Terminal to #82, #107, or #108 and get off at the "Himeyuri-no-tou ma-e" bus stop (an approximately 15-minute ride).

Reservations
Groups, e.g., school trips and peace study tours, are recommended to contact us in advance and fill out a Group Application form to schedule your visit. Click "Group Application" for reservations.

Lecture on Himeyuri and Documentary and Animation Films
We offer a lecture by our educators and curators, and films of Himeyuri survivors’ testimonies and animation can be shown in the Multimedia Hall. (Available for a group of 40 or more. Reservations are required.)

Free (We do not accept honoraria for the lecturers.)

We begin to accept applications on the first day of the month that is 12 months before your visit.
Ex.: If you plan to visit on any day in October (1-31) in 2014, we will accept your reservation on or after October 1, 2013.
